From May 20 to 21, 2025, Li Fanrong, Chairman and Party Secretary of Sinochem Holdings, visited several affiliated enterprises of Sinochem Energy?in Fujian?Province, including Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical and Sinochem Oil Fujian, to learn about?their Party-building efforts, safety management, production and operations, as well as planning and development. He convened a symposium on in-depth study and implementation?of the Eight-Point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct, emphasizing the need to thoroughly comprehend General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks?on strengthening the Party’s work style construction, relentlessly implementing the?Eight-Point Decision?and fostering unity and entrepreneurship?with good?work ethics. Wang Ligang, Vice President?and Member of the Party Committee?of Sinochem Holdings?participated in the relevant research activities.

During his stay in Quanzhou, Li met with Cai Zhansheng, Deputy Secretary of the?CPC?Quanzhou Municipal?Committee and Mayor?of Quanzhou, to exchange views on the development of Sinochem Holdings’ enterprises in Quanzhou. Xiao Hanhui, Chairman and Party Secretary of the Quanzhou Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Huang Jingchun, Member of the CPC Quanzhou Municipal?Committee and Executive Vice Mayor?of Quanzhou, also attended the meeting.

Li and his delegation visited various sites, including the aromatic hydrocarbon unit, acrylonitrile unit, EVA capacity expansion project, and quality inspection center of Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical, as well as the Luyuan Gas Station operated by Sinochem?in?Donghu Sub-district?in Quanzhou. They gained an in-depth understanding of safety management, project construction, and production and operations?and held a symposium to listen to?work reports?of these enterprises. Li acknowledged the achievements made by the enterprises in recent years in?construction, development, and project operations, as well as the motivated and upbeat spirit of their employees. Based on the findings of the field research and the company’s recent key tasks, he put forward the following requirements:?

1. Advance the in-depth?study and?implementation of the guidelines outlined in the Eight-Point Decision on Improving?Party and Government Conduct with unwavering rigor and practicality. Embrace a heightened sense of political awareness, an impassioned spirit, and a results-driven work style?to continuously?reinforce a stringent approach, robust measures, and a disciplined environment. This will ensure that every facet of the study and implementation process is more robust, profound, and effective, thereby generating tangible results?in the cultivation of a disciplined and exemplary work ethic.

2. Steadfastly uphold the fundamental principle of work safety. Reinforce a proactive mindset rooted in risk prevention and control. Clearly define and rigorously enforce work safety responsibilities, systematically bolster the capacity for safety risk management, and ensure the comprehensive and effective execution of all work safety measures tailored to the unique operational conditions of the enterprise.?

3. Resolutely?adhere to the red line of legal compliance. Draw?lessons?from?cautionary case studies, refine the framework for preventing and mitigating integrity risks, uphold?integrity and discipline, strengthen?compliance management, and?continuously enhance?legal?and?compliant operations and governance.

4. Ensure the high-quality?execution of current operational priorities. All enterprises should?adopt a goal-oriented?approach, strengthen?scientific and technological innovation, and continuously improve quality management?to enhance product competitiveness and expand market share.?Additionally, the Quanzhou base should conduct in-depth research on the overall management of projects within the industrial park, prioritize the developmental needs of enterprises, and spare no effort in delivering comprehensive service and support.
